Company History

Browns Furniture Warehouse was started over 40 years ago by Mr. Stan Brown. Mr. Brown also ran an auction in Holywell and owned an estate agents in Shotton. It soon became clear that people buying houses also needed a good choice of quality furniture at affordable prices for their new homes and so Browns Furniture Warehouse was born. Over the years Browns became known throughout the Flintshire area as a company which could be relied upon to provide a good quality service and in many cases the first point of call for many families in the area. In 1985 Mr. Brown handed the reins over to his son Mr. Stephen Brown who is the current owner today.
