THE COMPANY

Widely known and respected Sherborne has grown from a small family business into one of the most successful upholstery companies in the United Kingdom with two factories and approximately 300 employees. Manufacturing all our own frames every piece is fully produced (not just assembled) in our factories in the North of England. Traditional craftsmanship is combined with the latest in sophisticated manufacturing techniques to ensure that every piece is produced to a consistently high standard.

Only the finest materials are used to ensure that every Sherborne product is made to last. All frames are glued and screwed and every Fixed or Reclining Chair or Setee has fully sprung seating to ensure the proper degree of comfort and support.

Furniture is checked at every stage of production to make sure that our high quality standards are maintained, so you can be assured that the product you buy will provide years of comfort and satisfaction in the home.

Once production has been completed our commitment to high quality standards continues with the excellent packaging used to enable the driver to deliver safely and securely to your retail stockist.

For further reassurance we offer a 3 YEAR GUARANTEE on all Recliner and Sofabed actions and a 2 YEAR WARRANTY on all electric motors. These cover all defects in workmanship and materials providing the furniture has been used in the correct way.

DESIGN ADVANTAGES

At Sherborne we pay particular attention to designing both comfort and support into any piece we produce.
We concentrate especially on providing ample lumbar support for the lower back and thigh support for the backs of the legs. We also ensure that all Recliners have backs high enough to fully support the head when used in all the recline positions.
